👶🏼 Suitable from 6 months (I suggest to avoid sweetener and serve in finger shaped strips for younger babies) ⠀
❄️ Can be frozen for up to 3 months
Instead of spending half an hour flipping a dozen pancakes on the hob, why don’t cook them all at once in the oven and then slice up? This recipe is perfect if your kids prefer different pancake flavours!
200g of self raising flour ⠀⠀
1 teaspoons of baking powder ⠀⠀
180g of milk of your choice (I used oat milk)
2 eggs ⠀
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 tbsps maple syrup/ agave or honey (avoid honey for babies under 1 year old) ⠀⠀
toppings of choice
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with backing paper. (You can use any size, if the mixture is a little higher because your pan in smaller, increase the cooking time a little).
Mix well all the ingredients in a bowl (except the toppings).
Spread into prepared baking sheet and top with your favourite fruits and toppings (I used sliced strawberries, sliced banana, blueberries and chocolate chips)
Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Slice and serve.
Optional: you can serve them with a drizzle of maple syrup or dust the top with a little icing sugar 😋
