I think oatmeal breakfast is such a good way to start the day! ☀️ Why not adding to the basic oatmeal some carrots 🥕 for a more nutritious and tasty result? I also added some grated apple 🍎 to make the oatmeal naturally sweet and more delicious ! 😋
Ingredients
40g rolled oats
180-200 ml plant based milk (I used oat milk)
1 peeled and grated carrot
1/2 grated apple
1 tsp nut butter (I used almond butter)
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
Method
Grate the carrot and the apple.
Heat the milk in a saucepan and add all the ingredients.
Cook for 10 min up until nice and tender, stir once in a while, more towards the end.
(Add a handful of raisins for a super yummy breakfast!)
Top with your favorite fruit and serve!😋
