I finally found a snack Grace likes! I’m so happy I can take it with us to the park for a super healthy snack! I just hope she won’t give it all to the squirrels🙈😂
2 apples (100g), cored and sliced
100g almond OR almond flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
(Double the quantity if you like a thicker bars)
Place the almonds in a food processor and blend on high until a fine, powdery flour is achieved. (You can blend the almonds directly with all the rest of the ingredients but in this way the almond will be properly blended to avoid chocking hazard).
Add all the rest of the ingredients and pulse until well combined.
Transfer in a small non sticky oven tray or OR in a loaf pan , ensure the mixture is evenly spread.
Cook at 180° for 20-30 minutes till the mixture has set.
Allow to cool before cutting into portions.
