POLENTA ALLA PIZZAIOLA 🍕

I had no time to make pizza tonight so I improvised with a polenta alla pizzaiola! It’s easy to do, is quick and taste grate! I used a ready to eat polenta that I bought in Lidl during the Italian week!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of ready to heat polenta or leftover polenta

  • mozzarella and cheddar cheese (or dairy free cheese) - quantity to taste

  • tomato passata, quantity to taste

  • oregano, basil, salt & pepper to taste


Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

  2. Prepare your tomato pizza sauce mixing tomato passata with basil, oregano, salt & pepper, set apart.

  3. Slice the polenta and place it in a oven tray.

  4. Spread it with the tomato pizza sauce.

  5. Sprinkle with cheese and mozzarella.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and the cheese has melted . Let stand for at least 5 minutes before serving.

  7. Enjoy!
