This delicious creamy oat chocolate “pudding” makes a really simple but very tasty dessert or breakfast!
50g porridge oats
250ml milk of choice (I used oat milk)
1 big teaspoon of cocoa powder (you can add more if you like it even more chocolatey)
2 tsp maple syrup, agave syrup or honey (avoid honey for babies under 1 year old)
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth.
Transfer the mixture into a small pan and cook over a medium heat, whisking constantly.
When starts to thicken, continue to cook over medium heat for a few minutes more, adding a dash more milk if it ever becomes too thick.
Spoon into bowls and serve.
Enjoy warm for breakfast or cold for an after dinner healthy dessert!
