Made with just a few wholesome ingredients, this Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal cooks up fast and easily, the perfect breakfast for baby, toddlers, kids and even you! I blended a Medjool date with the oat milk to make it naturally sweet, and turn out so delicious! We all loved it!
Ingredients:
(1 portion)
40g oats
120ml milk of you choice
1/3 tsp cinnamon powder
1 soft pitted date (Medjool works better)
1/2 tsp vanilla
for the drizzle:
2 tbsp plain yogurt
A dash of milk
1/2 tsp maple syrup, agave or honey (optional)
Method:
Add the milk and the soft pitted date to a blender and pulse for 10-15 seconds.
In a saucepan add oats, cinnamon and the “date” milk and cook for 5-8 minutes until creamy (add more milk if necessary).
Meanwhile in a small bowl stir together yogurt, milk and maple syrup (if used).
Drizzle over top of oatmeal. Sprinkle with more cinnamon if desired and serve.
