CARROTđŸ„• CHEESE🧀 BALLS


Today I’m sharing with you these carrots ball with a cheese heart 💛! Can you handle the deliciousness?đŸ€€ Your kids will love this recipe, and you toođŸ„°

Ingredients:

  • 300g carrots

  • 200g potatoes

  • 60d grated Parmesan

  • cheddar cheese, block - cut into small cubes (or mozzarella)

  • 80-100g bread crumbs

  • pinch of salt

  • ground black pepper

  • olive oil for cooking

Method:

  1. Peeling and cut the carrots and the potatoes.

  2. Boil them until al dente but fully cooked. They should not be too mushy.

  3. Let them cool a bit.

  4. Cut cheddar cheese block (or mozzarella) into small cubes.

  5. In a food processor place carrots, potatoes, grated Parmesan, bread crumbs, salt and pepper and pulse until a soft ball is formed. If the mixture is too sticky add more bread crumbs, should be a soft ball. (You can do this without a food processor, just mashed the vegetable first, then add all the rest of the ingredients and mix well)

  6. With lightly wet hands - pick up a tablespoon sized ball of potato mixture and flatten into a small pancake.

  7. Place a cube of cheese in the center and wrap the potato mixture around the cheese. Repeat.

  8. In a non sticky pan heat a bit of olive oil over medium/high heat.

  9. Fry the balls in batches until browned on all sides.

  10. Transfer fried balls to paper towels to drain excess oil.
