CARROT CAKE WAFFLES šŸ„•šŸ§‡


You can feel good about feeding your kids these healthy waffles! šŸ§‡ Since carrots are naturally sweet ,so they donā€™t need any refined sugar! šŸ„•šŸ„•šŸ„•

Ingredients:

  • (1 portion)

  • 100g oats flour

  • 1 peeled and grated carrot

  • 1 tsp peanut butter

  • 150ml plant based milk

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • a handful of raisins

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional-I didnā€™t use it)

  • coconut oil for greasing


Method:

  1. Preheat a waffle iron and grease with coconut oil if necessary.

  2. In a large bowl or food processor mix all the ingredients (instead of the raisins) together to form a thick batter (add more milk if itā€™s too thick or more flour if itā€™s too soft).

  3. Once combined stir trough the raisins and scoop an appropriate amount of batter onto your waffle iron and cook until golden (maybe they will take longer because of the carrots).

  4. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy!šŸ§‡šŸ˜‹
