This is a delicious, quick recipe perfect for any time of the day and It’s a smart way to serve vegetable to the out little humans! Kids and parents will enjoy this healthy creamy pasta made with simple ingredients and ready in less than 15 minutes!
Ingredients
200-250g uncooked pasta
250g frozen peas
100g cream cheese/vegan cream cheese
1/2 onion, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

Method
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the pack.
Heat the olive oil in a medium pan, add the chopped onion and gently sweat for about 5 mins until really soft.
Add the frozen peas and cook for another 5-7 minutes or until the peas are soft.
If desired, remove a few spoonfuls of peas and set aside on a plate as garnish.
Place the cream cheese in a food processor, add the cooked peas, season with salt and pepper if you wish and pulse until smooth and creamy.
Coat your cooked pasta with the peas sauce.
Garnish with the reserved peas and some grated Parmesan, if desired.
